About Alahmar Centre

Founded by the esteemed Prof. Ali Muhammad Al Ahmar a distinguished Professor of Islamic Studies, specializing in Islamic Creed and Civilization at the University of Maiduguri, Born in Borno State, Nigeria. He holds B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees in Islamic Studies from the University of Islamic Call, Tripoli. He became a Professor in 2020, has served as a Dean, and holds leadership roles in academic publishing and examination across West Africa. He is a prolific scholar with numerous books and journal publications in Islamic jurisprudence, Sufism, and Islamic civilization.

About the Founder

Prof. Ali Muhammad Alahmar is a distinguished Professor of Islamic Studies, specializing in Islamic Creed and Civilization at the University of Maiduguri, and a renowned Islamic scholar whose life is devoted to the pursuit, preservation, and dissemination of Islamic knowledge. Born in Borno State, Nigeria, he holds B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees in Islamic Studies from the University of Islamic Call, Tripoli, Libya, and attained the rank of Professor in 2020. He has also served as a Dean and continues to hold key leadership roles in academic publishing and examination across West Africa, reflecting his strong influence within the scholarly community.

Beyond academia, Prof. Alahmar is a respected spiritual leader and serves as the Chief Imam of Attom Gujja Masjid and Islamic Academic Centre, Dakwa, Abuja, where he guides his community through regular sermons, teaching, and spiritual mentorship. He is the Founder of Al-Ahmar Educational Consultancy Centre, and a dynamic public speaker actively engaged in Da‘wah. Through conferences, media engagements, and podcast platforms featuring expert scholars, he works to present the timeless message of Islam in ways that address contemporary realities, fostering intellectual depth and spiritual growth globally.
